Our digital recorders have the ability to be viewed and operated from a computer, mobile device or cell phone, allowing users to be off-site and still review production, customer traffic, real-time inventory counts, as well as crime and vandalism. Additionally, our account managers will review other features including intrusion email alerts, and movement tracking.
Region Entry/Exit
Enables the system user to set up specific areas and when movement occurs at preprogrammed times, an email of a live video feed will be sent. For example, if there is a break-in at night or a staff member who forgets their alarm entry code after hours, emailed images of that person passing through the specified area will be forwarded to a cell phone or mobile device. This enables a business to determine if authorities should be dispatched and avoid expensive false alarm fees.
Movement Tracking
Uses pan, tilt, zoom, (PTZ) cameras that can be programmed using analytic software to track a person who has passed through a specific area. As they maneuver through an indoor or outdoor site the system will automatically track and record, and have those live images transmitted in an email.
People Counting
This feature is a good way to replace the traditional passenger flow statistical methods that rely on manual work and provides accurate people counting and professional analysis data, ideal for shopping malls, retails, scenic spots, pavilions, etc.
This data can be used for staffing, promotions, man guard security, other marketing and operational aspects.
Users can export information yearly, monthly, weekly, or daily and provide a detailed overview of the number of people entering and leaving a site over a certain period of time.
Heat Mapping
This feature tracks areas within the camera image of where activity occurs most and people stay longest. It can assist retailers identify their most popular products and where to place items to increase sales, add signage, interactive displays, etc.
Heat mapping can also be used to compare corporate planograms to individual store merchandising at different locations, or even justify shelf slotting fees to suppliers with hard data of the highest traffic areas. In the image below, red shows areas of the most traffic and blue indicates low movement.
