The History of Austin Security
1993-2003
Austin Security was founded in 1993 by company President Pat McNamara, who, after ten years in the industry, decided to venture out on his own. Starting as a one-man operation from his basement, Pat built his business by personally reaching out to customers in the Edmonton area. As demand grew, he was able to lease office space and expand his team, laying the foundation for what Austin Security is today.
2003-2013
Over the years, Pat's wife Annette supported the business by handling the bookkeeping, while they both focused on raising their three children. Between days and nights spent at the ice rink and swimming pool, the McNamara family continued to grow Austin Security, expanding its presence throughout Edmonton and the surrounding area.
2013-Present
Over the past two and a half decades, Austin Security has experienced remarkable growth, with a client base extending across Canada, the US, and even internationally. This success can be attributed to the dedication, commitment, and care of the company's employees. The open office environment fosters collaboration, bringing together the president, reception, sales, service, parts, administration, installation, and IT help desk teams, ensuring that everyone is involved in providing quick and effective solutions for clients.
